WR2 Periodic Test for Fixed Electrical Installations
Pursuant to Regulation 20 of the “Electricity (Wiring) Regulations”, owners of electrical installations shall have their installations inspected, tested and certified periodically to confirm that the requirements of the Electricity Ordinance have been met.
Hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, colleges or child care centres...etc, must be every At least once every five years,Testing and obtaining certificate.

Service Content:

- In accordance with the standards and regulations of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD):
- Inspect and test all public fixed electrical installations
- Inspect and test existing electrical switch points

- Prepare test report
- Provide repair recommendations and cost estimates for repair items (if required)
- Draw relevant circuit diagrams upon completion of inspection or repairs
- Issue and submit the Periodic Test Certificate (WR2) on behalf of clients
